GREENCARD MTAANI
Are you ready to help them? Lets become a volunteer!
Founded in 2011 in the heart of Kibera, Greencard Mtaani (GCM) is a registered Community-Based Organization (CBO No. A12063) committed to nurturing, educating, protecting, and empowering vulnerable children, youth, and women. Non-partisan, non-religious, and non-discriminatory, GCM believes in the power of community-led solutions driven by sports, art, mentorship, and economic empowerment. Our programs are designed to tackle the root causes of poverty, inequality, and neglect — creating pathways to dignity and hope for the most underserved families.
We are led by local residents who understand the real challenges faced in Kibera. Every program is built on trust, shared values, and lived experience.
From neighborhood groups to international volunteers, we collaborate across cultures and sectors to make change sustainable and scalable.
